I've been hosting parties at Redwood Raks in Arcata's Creamery Building since starting the dance studio in 2008. That's hundreds of parties with fairies, dragons, princesses, pirates, unicorns, mermaids, and so much more!

Where?
At Redwood Raks Collective, 824 L St. in Arcata's Creamery Building
OR at another location, like a park, venue, or your house!
What themes?
It's pretty flexible! Fairies, rainbows, under the sea, dragons, Alice in Wonderland, knights, dance party, butterfly, unicorn, winter, bellydance, pirates, wizards, cats.... color combinations.... sparkly.... easy to mix and match!
What else is included?
I am happy to host!
I have music to play, coloring pages, dress-up, decorations, and LOTS of options.
Want a microphone for kids to sing into? Bouncy ride-on dragons? Special games? Do you want to supplement decorations? Have a pinata? Do a special crafty project? Have a nail-painting henna, or hair station?
Yes to pretty much anything... let's talk and make the magic happen! :-)
Party guest info
It's really hard to get RSVP's. I now! However, we need to try!
These parties are better when it's known now many will come. Small and large parties are all great!
I'll need to have a pretty good idea by the day before the party please.
I don't count teens or babies, but do count kids that are there as part of the party. It's different if it's a party for teens, babies, or adults. We can figure it out! :-)
When?
Sundays from 10-12 or 11-1, depending on the schedule at Redwood Raks.
If you'd like a party at another location, it can be anytime on a Sunday (Shoshanna works at the library Saturdays).
How long?
2 hours.... families arrive, we play, snacks 45 min in, cake/cupcakes 60 min in, we play/dance, and toward the end group photo, presents (if you want to), a story (if you'd like), and calm down before leaving.
How do you pay?
Cash, check, Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle are all fine, upon confirmation of the party details.

My parties are for usually for kids aged 3-7, and 5-6 year olds are the most frequent.
BUT... I also do specialty and crafty parties for tweens, teens, and adults. Baby showers, retirements, and business holiday parties are delightful, and I've even done a 21st birthday party.
Let's talk about your special idea!
How much?
Parties for up to 15 children are $300, and for up to 20 children are $350. There's a $100 deposit due upon booking, with the balance due at the party.
What's included?
Plates, tea party cups/saucers, utensils, cupcake stands, tablecloths, napkins, etc.
Tables, chairs, sound system, and a very fancy decorated space.
Platters, bowls, candles, hot water kettle, and serving things available upon request.
What do families do?
Families bring food to serve (light snacks are great), beverages to serve as "tea" (lemonade/juice are popular, but real tea is fine too), and cake/cupcakes.
Families also bring party favors if you'd like to offer them.
Please...
Recycling/some packaging trash is fine, but pizza boxes need to go home with families.
