Shoshanna will be the guest performer at the UC Santa Barbara fall concert on Saturday, November 20th and will teach a great workshop on Sunday the 21st. Hear the UCSB Ensemble in an excellent concert of Middle Eastern Music, and unlock the mysteries of the Four Yard Veil in a challeging workshop on Sunday from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. Shoshanna's so happy to be a part of what sounds like a great new annual tradition in Portland, NW Raks! Produced by Susan of Aliah's Closet (a popular vendor), this festival promises to be even more fun than the normal festival filled with vendors, dancing, and workshops. Shoshanna will teach two workshops at the event: Technique/Combinations and Four Yard Veil. Other teachers are said to be Zaina Hart and Saqra. The event will be at the Lloyd Center Doubletree Hotel, 1000 NE Multnomah, Portland and will run from 2-8pm on Saturday and 2-6pm on Sunday. L.
